17-20-25mm stepped cones and balancing axle on stand balancer
Our balancing shaft is 0.500" TGP (turned, ground and polished) steel shafting. The
stepped cones are stepped at 17, 20, and 25 mm. The cones are made from aircraft
quality aluminum and are turned on a CNC lathe to high tolerances. They are then clear
anodized to provide a lasting durable finish. A pair of stepped cones and one balancing
axle comes with each balancer.
This adaptor mounts to the early K-bike wheels. It is only for the four holed BMW rear
wheels. It will not adapt to the newer 5-hole rear wheel. It mounts to your rear wheel
using two of your rear wheel bolts and two conical washers from your bike. They are
CNC machined of aircraft quality aluminum and clear anodized. If you are interested
only in balancing the older four holed rear wheels a balancer with this adaptor is
a terrific value.
The 4-5-hole adaptor will mate with most all modern BMW rear wheels since 1985
having the 50mm tenon on the inside of the wheel (the side contacting the drive). It
will not, however, fit on the newer wheels designed for the shallow rear drive. They are
CNC machined of aircraft quality aluminum and clear anodized. It is secured to the
rear wheel using two of your rear wheel bolts and conical washers.

This adaptor only fits BMW's new open center wheels. It has more contact area than
that of our 4-5-5 adaptor when used on this new wheel design.
